Oral History Training Workshop

Learn how to conduct a great interview to capture the history of your family or neighborhood as a Queens Memory volunteer interviewer. This oral history training workshop will have a special focus on our joint project with Queens College’s Department of Special Collections & Archives to capture the experiences of retired and current faculty and staff. You will learn how to prepare for an interview, ask good questions, make a high-quality recording, and submit your completed interview to the library. This workshop will take place in classroom 444 in the Rosenthal Library on campus; please bring photo ID and sign in at the security desk in the main lobby.
