My Pride Story Showcase

Join the Queens Memory team for a kick off to Queens Pride weekend with a staged reading of an original work by the What Will the Neighbors Say? theater company. This production features the writing and lived experiences of participants from the My Pride Story writing workshops conducted in May 2022. This performance will be presented by an all-queer cast and director as a celebration of the strength and humanity of all LGBTQIA+ folks. This program is funded by the New York State Assembly Queens Delegation as part of Queens Rising, a multi-disciplinary arts celebration created to highlight the borough’s culture and creative diversity.
