Mapping your Genealogy Records

Once you have accessed genealogical-related records about your ancestors, how can you visualize this information? Using maps, you can plot information that you have discovered about your ancestors, to envision where your ancestors once lived, worked, and traveled.

Join librarian Jo-Ann Wong from The Lionel Pincus and Princess Firyal Map Division of the New York Public Library, to learn about the different types of maps and resources that can best help this type of research within NYPL’s collections.
