Voices of Diversity: Stories from Southeast Queens

The Queens Memory Program celebrated a return to Southeast Queens with a wonderful event organized with the Laurelton Library Friends Group and Queens Memory volunteer Barbara Deyoung-Ezell. We asked library patrons and Southeast Queens residents to bring in family history to share. Speakers from all over the world came to Southeast Queens to share the stories of their migration. The Queens Memory team was on hand to scan photographs, postcards, and other memorabilia. Donating patrons received their images on a free thumb drive.
