Oral History Workshop

We will conduct a hands-on training session at LaGuardia Community College for volunteers who want to learn or brush up on their oral history interviewing skills. This workshop will have a special focus on our Queens LGBTQ History project, but anyone interested in honing their interviewing skills is welcome! The workshop will cover such topics as interviewing techniques, recording technology and the creation of timecode outlines. The training is free and open to all volunteers. It will be held in the C Building (29-10 Thompson Ave.), Room 431D; please RSVP with Richard.Lee@queenslibrary.org.
