How to Do Genealogy Research in Your Library

Getting started with your family history research doesn’t have to involve pricey subscriptions or traveling to distant locations. Many of the resources you need are as close as your local library! In this interactive workshop, archivist Lori Wallach will demonstrate how to use research databases and other materials available free at Queens Public Library locations to build your family tree. We’ll also take a look at some specialized collections in other area libraries for when you’re ready for the next step. Come with questions from your own experiences!
